selection of legal filings on the SCO site is? For example, the Daimler
Chrysler section stops in November, leaving out all of the decisions by
the judge rejecting SCO's claims and appeal.
It looks like the choice between scoinfo and
groklaw is not a choice between the legal filings without or with anti-sco
commentary, respectively, but between an incomplete list that purposely excludes
filings unfavorable to SCO, and the complete collection of legal filings in the
case. Respectively. While fans of SCO might prefer the former, I would expect a
"journalist" to be more interested in the complete record.

'never was, so can't be a has been' writer. (I will not even call her a
journalist)
MOG shows herself to be nothing more, than a sock
puppet for SCO. I am more than sure she has some excuse as to why SCO wouldnt
publish any of the rulings against them. But, they would be just that: excuses.
MOG is not a journalist, in any classical or present sense.
She is just a FUD machine. Interested in being the
antithesis of PJ. If she wanted to tell the story in any compelling way, she
would actually have to work, as opposed to being an arm chair quarterback in the
circle of pundits.

anti-SCO nature is a function of the facts of the case more than its bias.
Besides, we have plenty of bias here for balance. I note that SCO is still
not able to get things squared up with NASDAQ. I expect that this is a
sign of a pretty major problem. It is only a matter of time un till they
are delisted. I would expect that will have to trade over the counter. SCO
is not going to be in business for long. The Suite with IBM is not going
very well either. Once IBM delivers the requested 2 billion lines of code
and access to the 3000 contributers, somebody will have to wade through it
all. Face it. If they haven't found enough make a case on the final
releases, they aren't likely to find much to support the case in this
mess. I suppose the argument is that all of the "contributed"
code would have been generated in early versions and then modified so
there would not be a trail in the final release. Its a pretty weak case to
me. Either they incorporated the code or not. The incorporated code would
have been part of the releases.
I doubt very much that SCO will succeed. The judge
has pretty much indicated as much. They should consider putting together their
resumes not a legal repository.

how much SCO are paying O'Gara for this feeble PR exercise. Who in their
right mind would go to the website of a bunch of proven liars (SCO) to
read an "unbiased" account of their court failures? It's
ridiculous; almost as bad as O'Gara's other articles on "TCO"
which (surprise, surprise) favour her other paymasters Microsoft.
I must admit that I haven't bothered reading her
article - they're all the same anyway - but came here following a comment on
Groklaw ;-)

Except there are some missing documents on the SCO
Group site. Compare the lists on the SCO Group with the lists at
sco.tuxrocks.com, the site I recommend because there's very little propaganda
from either side.
I suppose the SCO Group site will get ALL the
documents on their site and provide an index in the next few days. Not less than
a week.

Those missing documents were simply "scriveners' errors, correct, and
not errors of omission? SCOXE wouldn't do that, would they?

hard as you spin everything for SCOXE, you could be their centrifuge, and enrich
plutonium for them, right in your cubicle! Of course, to help protect your

or so ago? I do seem to recall reading exchanges between SCO and Novell on
each of their sites over copyrights.
Also didn't SCO plan to host another website that
never fully materialized? ProSCO.net?
What about the countless other sites devoted the
case. Tuxrocks comes to mine.
It's interesting how you fixate on Groklaw in your
article and fail to mention any of the above like a fair and unbiased reporter
would.
Also doesn't it seem a little odd a company would
devote an area of their site to ALL the ligitation they're involved in? I could
see perhaps if they were a legal site...

following the case?
I think if you're following a ligitation, the last
thing you going to do is go to the company that's involved in the ligitation and
use that as a source for information. It's one-sided.
