I think it is a bit premature to announce this since they have already missed promissed dates in the past. They promised to file the 10-K before their hearing. If the issue is a simple as they are claiming, I would think that it would not be hard to get this done. This is an issue that came about in November. Five months is a long time to resolve a seemingly small accounting issue.

* If you wish to contact the author of this article, she's on her knees under Darl McBride's desk during working hours. Simply give Darl a call and he'll hand the phone to her between her jobs, er, work.

* Wow? Already? What is it.. April now? They're getting close to filing? really? Oh wait, did SCO wait until the absolute last minute again? Why those silly guys! So are they off the hook with the SEC and shareholders??

* Let's assume it's not an April Fool's joke.

In the immortal words of Kevin McBride (part-time counsel for the SCO Group and full-time brother to Darl McBride): The SCO group will file its 10-K "in the next few days. Not less than a week."

Parse that carefully in order to grok in fullness.

=^^=

* Looks like you need to get busy removing the comments from the site again. No one believes anything you print. Not even Darl McBride.
